CUSTOM BAGS
BY RAESCUSTOMS
Scrooge Mcduck
This is my most recent project and it is the first time painting on a luggage. It's very different from my other projects because of the scale of the design. I also wanted to experiment with content creation on Tiktok so I created a vlog-like video to document my process.

Takeaways
Even though I love focusing on the details in my smaller projects, painting this design felt like I was painting on a big canvas. Although it may seem like it has less details. I spent more time trying to perfect the outlines and color opacities.

A Pop Of Color
This project was one of my first biggest project because of the extent of surface I was going to cover, the product canvas itself, and the lack of structure from the deliverable. I was really intimidated and encountered many obstacles with the design process. The following video is a documentation of how I tackled each problem and reveals the final result.

Takeaways
This project really molded my current design process and my perception on the preparation process also known as the rough draft of each of my works. Because of the obstacles I faced, I now always fully create a mock up of my designs on procreate so that I can be fully satisfied of the final result.

Deep In The Jungle
This project came after 'A Pop of Color' and I had a clear idea of how I wanted to proceed with the design process. Because of this, the journey toward the end product was much more smooth sailing this time around. By using procreate I created a mockup on the bag from images and drawings that inspired me.

Process
The image on the left is a screen capture of how I use different images from the web to create a mock-up on the app Procreate. I also utilize their drawing features to create a more fluid design.
The image on the right is half-way through the process when I have already painted half of the bag and I overlay the images on top the actual image of the bag to get better visualization of the result and to add more details.
